The Story

Shadow Madness starts, like all good stories start, in a bar. This kid, named Stinger unless you have the decency to rename him, seems to have lost his way, and in true American style, decides that the barkeep needs to know the whole story. Here's the short of it:

Apparently, Stinger had a fight with his stepdad and went to go sleep in the woods to cool off. When he came back his whole village had been destroyed by some mysterious force that left the majority of the people of the town rather dead, much to his chagrin. Dang, this ALWAYS happens, y'know? Grr. So he's gotta go find help and warn surrounding towns, right? Well it appears that the only people that weren't blown up by whatever it was also happen to have this disease that renders them TOTALLY FRICKIN' FREAKISH, and by freakish, I mean insane. Very Zombie-like. Very cool.

Naturally, this turns into a huge quest-type thing where you have to run around and hunt bad guys and find allies and face some Ultimate Evil. But oh whatta ride!
